News and Commentary from the Downtown Phoenix Campus of Arizona State University, founded 2006
Since it opened 27 December 2008, METRO Light Rail has changed how we get from point A to point B in Phoenix. As students of one university in many places, we know that there are times when we have to be on the Downtown Phoenix campus and also on the Tempe campus.
As a commuter student, I have to stay up-to-date on transportation news so I can arrive for classes on time. And it seems appropriate that I share this with you. The Spring 2009 semester marks a change in intercampus commuting. It is my hope that with this information, getting from one campus to another will be as painless as possible.
As I hear things, I'll post them to this blog using the theme "Intercampus Commuting". So far, I have the big changes posted. And as always, let me know if you have questions!

Very nice photos. I had to miss this event due to the minor inconvenience of work, which is unfortunately not located Downtown. Nevertheless, I got to ride on one of the rail cars at the operations and maintenance center a few months ago, and I was amazed at what a smooth and quiet ride it is.
Living in San Fran, and watching the light rail is so normal to me now. Although I am still really excited about it.
